Drake‘s new album, “For All The Dogs,” is currently all over the internet and it features some controversial songs.
On the track, βBahamas Promises,β the Canada rapper allegedly sings about Justin Bieber’s wife, Hailey.
The OVO Sound head honcho is believed to allude to his romance with Hailey on the song. Drizzle sings about a woman named Hailey who leaves him feeling disappointed. It hints at broken trust and betrayal though he realizes that the relationship isnβt working.
βHailey, itβs sad that I know all the tea,β the 36-year-old sings in the interlude. βBroken pinky promises, you f*cked up our Bahamas trip/ I know that youβre not for me/ Hailey, Iβm tired of your apologies/ You put the βNoβ in monogamy (No)/ You know that youβre not for me.β
Drake continues, βHailey, youβre livinβ in my mind for free/ And for someone you donβt miss/ I sure feel like somebody you need/ Hailey, You ainβt got nowhere to be/ Itβs βcause you shouldβve been with me.β
During their dating period, a source had told People, βDrake and Hailey are dating super casually, but he is really into her,β and further claimed, βThey were having a lot of fun together and were very affectionate.β
