Thereβs no shortage of new music from NBA YoungBoy these days. Following the release of his latest project βMaβ I Got A Family,β the Baton Rouge rapper has returned to share a new single titled βHi Haters,β alongside a music video directed by Isaac Garcia.
The record kicks off with upbeat, guitar-laden production with a breath of gratitude for everything in his life. He reflects on the power of prayer before detailing the joys of fatherhood. The accompanying visual sees the Baton Rouge rapper flex his expensive cars and jewelry. As the singleβs moniker suggests, YoungBoy delivers a message to his haters across his bars.
βAnd I speak, I got to put my daughter to sleep, and just like Peak, I named my son after a Jeep/ Ainβt been respondinβ to these n***as, I know Iβm way more rich, I know they see,β he raps. βOn my life Iβm spending millions, I put some diamonds on my wrist, I dont made it out the cage/ Saw me down but Iβm still up, I donβt give one f**k, God I say thank you/ Hit your artist with them Kβs, I donβt bother you.β
In related news, YoungBoy announced a few weeks ago that he officially inked a new deal with Motown Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. Augustβs βThe Last Slimetoβ album was his final release under his former label Atlantic Records.
Following the news, YoungBoy delivered a 19-track mixtape titled βMaβ I Got A Family,β which arrived as a Gangsta Grillz collaboration with DJ Drama.
