Wednesday - April 15, 2009 | Comments (0)
Rapper Common is about to add the role of comedian to his repertoire when he stars as the villian in the new comedy, Date Night.

According to Variety, the Chicago emcee is slated to appear alongside an all-star cast including Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Mark Wahlberg, and Taraji P. Henson.

At press time, Date Night had no release date and had not begun filming.

In addition to Date Night, fans can also see Common in this summer's Terminator Salvation.

He has also linked up with Diesel as the face of their print and television ads for a new men's fragrance, Only The Brave, says Billboard.

Microsoft has also tapped into Common's marketability and marked him as the face of their line of T-shirts called Software, currently in select stores.
