If animal rights group PETA has their way T.I. will be getting naked for their "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign upon his release from jail.
"We're asking T.I. to use his fame and his experiences to bare the truth about the fur industry by baring his skin," PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman said.
In an effort to plea their case, PETA leader Michelle Cho has taken her case to letter format in a written request to inmate # 59450-019 at the Forrest City Federal Correctional Institution in Arkansas.
"We read that you looked to Martha Stewart for advice on how to pass your prison time and come out on top. Did you know that she agreed to narrate an anti-fur public service announcement for PETA because she experienced firsthand what it is like for the millions of minks, rabbits, and other animals who are confined to filthy sheds on fur farms?! the letter reads. "But unlike inmates, who are freed when they finish their sentences, these animals are beaten, have their necks broken, are electrocuted, and are often skinned alive for their fur. We hope that you'll follow Martha's compassionate example and become involved with our anti-fur efforts."
In other Tip news, word on the street is that the rapper requested to see his longtime girlfriend just after three weeks behind bars.
His request came in sharp contrast to his previous claims that he did not want any visitors while serving his 366 day sentence.
