Snoop Dogg was on the popular UK radio show with Tim Westwood the other night and the two discussed many topics, but one in particular raised a few eyebrows.
Westwood asked Snoop about Dr. Dre and the hold-up with the often-delayed Detox album. Snoop had plenty to say and it was not all love.
"He's got a strong work ethic and I'm gon' say this and I don't know if it's gonna ruffle any feathers, I just think the wrong people is in the environment."
Snoop went on to talk about how back in the day at Death Row Records it was Dre, D.O.C., and himself and the environment was perfect with the music reflecting that.
"You got music, it has to go hand in hand, that's holy matrimony, and right now it's holy macaroni."
The legendary West Coast emcee feels that Dre needs to go back to the formula that worked so well for him with The Chronic and 2001.
After the discussion, Snoop freestyled and used the Dre situation for a couple of bars, spiting, "Call the D-O-G and the D-O-C and the D-R-E will be back on the T-O-P"
Hopefully this will stir up Dre’s competitive spirit.
