The Public Enemy MC will be appearing in court shortly.

Flavor Flav will be making a court appearance next month, on June 19, due to claims that some of his children have been missing out on their child support money.

The rapper has a total of 7 children, and allegedly 3 of them have been missing out. TMZ reports that the 53 year old rapper and reality TV star owes the mother of the three children $110,000 in back payments.

The mother, Angie Parker of Albany, New York, has alleged that Flavor has been slacking on his child support payments for years. The rapper’s legal agreement dictates that he pays  $837 weekly in order to support the three children. If convicted, Flavor Flav could face time behind bars.

As yet, Flavor Flav has passed no comment on the charges.

This will not be the first time that the larger than life rapper has appeared in court, or, indeed, served time in prison. Over the past 20 years, Flavor has served jail sentences for drugs convictions, assault, and driving with a suspended license.
