A 25 year old man was arrested on July 4 in connection with a shooting outside of a strip club last month that took 3 lives, and wounded Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth and another individual.
Police have arrested Feanyichi Uvukansi in connection with the shooting. He was brought in for questioning Wednesday. Uvukansi has a pretty extensive criminal record, but has told loved ones he is surprised to be a suspect in last month's shooting.
The shooting, which occurred on June 20 after a performance by Trae, killed Coy "Poppa C" Thompson, 23, Erica Rochelle Dotson, 30, and Carlos Durell Dorsey, 31.
Trae, 31, real name Frazier Othel Thompson, was also shot, but according to police, his injuries were not life threatening.
Police say Coy "Poppa C" Thompson was involved in a domestic dispute on June 17, 2012, and believe the gunfire, was intended only for him, but killed and wounded the others because, unfortunately, they just happened to be in the way.
A source tells Khou.com that Doston, a mother of 3, was killed shortly after asking Trae for an autograph.
Uvukansi, who faces capital murder charges, is being held without bond.
