50 Cent has announced on Tuesday (October 15) that he will headline his first-ever Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning December 27.
The rapper and entrepreneur has announced six shows for his residency. Titled “50 Cent: In Da Club,” Fif is slated to perform from December 27 to December 31, with his two final shows on January 3 and January 4. The series includes a New Yearβs Eve performance.
Reports are that the G-Unit head honcho is making $15 million for the set of shows.
βI always bring the energy, and Las Vegas is the perfect spot to create an unforgettable experience for my fans,β 50 said in a statement. βWeβre talking big production, surprises and the ultimate New Yearβs Eve party for my Vegas residency.β
He added on Instagram: βMy first Vegas residency is going to be an experience, you donβt wanna miss this! Iβll be doing 6 Exclusive shows December 27 β January 4 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Tickets on sale Saturday.β
50 Cent has already started teasing the setlist for the upcoming performances. βIn Da Club,β βCandy Shop,β βP.I.M.P.,β and β21 Questionsβ have all made the cut.
Pre-sale tickets will be available for Citi cardmembers on October 16, with the general public getting their chance on October 19. Performances are set to take place at 9 p.m. PT with the exception of the New Yearβs Eve show, which will start at 10 p.m. PT.
The mid-sized auditorium previously housed residencies for Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Lionel Richie, Gwen Stefani, Pitbull, Lionel Richie, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Backstreet Boys, and Christina Aguilera.
