KingCaliDro, born Fredrick Knowles, is a California rapper from Long Beach, California, following the footsteps as his predecessors like Warren G, Trey Dee of The East Sidaz and Snoop Dogg. The aspiring West Coast rapper’s new single “Play Me (ft. Kevin Hands)”, is all about the G-Funk. Written by Fredrick Knowles and Kevin Hands, the track was produced by Walli Ali, and is released via Pulsar Music Media.

The emerging Cali rapper had to avoid the pitfalls of street life and gangbanging. Dro credits his love for music and writing for keeping him from allowing gangs and drugs to ruin his life. His passion for telling his story through music is so great that he never wanted to lose it by being locked up or dead.

KingCaliDro feels that he is currently positioning himself to make a positive change in the neighborhood he grew up in. He is cut from the cloth of rappers who always deliver strong, enjoyable projects so make sure to peep his blazing music video “Play Me” below.
