Multi-platinum rapper Kodak Black has delayed his brand-new album “Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1,” which includes the new Metro Boomin-produced single “I’m So Awesome.”
The project was originally scheduled to be released on October 7, but the Florida rapper had a change of plans. The 25-year old rapper decided push the album release date back to October 28. No word on why Kodak opted for a later date.
The album’s delay comes less than a day after Yak called for a boycott of BET after losing the Song of the Year award to Latto at the 2022 Hip Hop Awards.
The 19-track collection – which will include features from Lil Crix, VVSNCE, NFL Tuewop, and Prince Swanny – was first heralded last month by two brand new singles, “Walk” and “Spin.” Produced by Tye Beats, “Walk” is joined by an official music video, directed by KillerJack, and “Spin” is joined by an official video directed by Kodak himself.
“Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1” will arrive eight months after Kodak’s gold-certified album “Back for Everything,” which spawned the platinum-certified hit “Super Gremlin.” The album may be his last for Atlantic. He is reportedly in talks to sign a new deal with Capitol Music Group.
