Multi-platinum rapper Kodak Black has delayed his brand-new album βKutthroat Bill: Vol. 1,β which includes the new Metro Boomin-produced single βIβm So Awesome.β
The project was originally scheduled to be released on October 7, but the Florida rapper had a change of plans. The 25-year old rapper decided push the album release date back to October 28. No word on why Kodak opted for a later date.
The albumβs delay comes less than a day after Yak called for a boycott of BET after losing the Song of the Year award to Latto at the 2022 Hip Hop Awards.
The 19-track collection β which will include features from Lil Crix, VVSNCE, NFL Tuewop, and Prince Swanny β was first heralded last month by two brand new singles, βWalkβ and βSpin.β Produced by Tye Beats, βWalkβ is joined by an official music video, directed by KillerJack, and βSpinβ is joined by an official video directed by Kodak himself.
βKutthroat Bill: Vol. 1β will arrive eight months after Kodakβs gold-certified album βBack for Everything,β which spawned the platinum-certified hit βSuper Gremlin.β The album may be his last for Atlantic. He is reportedly in talks to sign a new deal with Capitol Music Group.
