NAV and Metro Boomin are seemingly working on a new joint album.
The two artists recently talked about their tireless recording process during an interview with Wonderland Magazine.
The pair opened up about their collaborative relationship that resulted in their 2017 mixtape entitled “Perfect Timing” and also teased a new collaborative project.
Young Metro explained that he doesn’t plan on taking a break following his back-to-back collaborative albums with Future.
“Of course everything will be in moderation, but I’m a producer and it’s not the same as an artist who might burnt out with a specific style or their voice.” He added, “I could do an album with Future and it’s not going to sound like my album with NAV. It’s just about how you space those things out and the order they get released in — but i’m always working on some kind of body of work.”
While details remain scarce, the album is expected to blend NAV’s melodic trap style with Metro Boomin’s signature production.
“Perfect Timing” dropped in July 2017 and featured guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Offset, 21 Savage, Belly and Gucci Mane. It debuted at #13 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified gold by the RIAA.
