Tekashi 6ix9ine is taking his talents to Kartel Music.

The New York-born rapper has reportedly signed a new record deal that’s potentially worth $6 million.

According to the contract, 6ix9ine will receive $1 million for his upcoming 10-track album which he will record with artists from Mexico. The remaining sum will be paid out through a tour spanning the United States and Mexico, as well as Central and South America. He’s expected to earn $250,000 for each show. All added up, this could result in the aforementioned $6 million.

In signing the deal, the 28-year-old artist agrees to have no involvement in legal issues or initiate any conflicts on digital platforms.

The Brooklyn native shared a screenshot of the news of his record deal with Kartel Music, along with a message reflecting on the deal via Instagram this week.

“Jesus is king, I love you,” he wrote.

TMZ notes a considerable portion of his earnings from his new deal will go towards the money he owes to the IRS.

The rapper’s decision to cater to his Latino audience is not new. He previously released a reggaeton album titled “Leyenda Viva” in 2023.
