Mac Miller has been awarded with 26 new platinum and gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The late rapper received the certifications for his songs “Self Care” (now 6x platinum), “Weekend” with Miguel (now 5x platinum), “Dang!,” “Come Back To Earth,” “Small Worlds” and “Good News” are now 2x platinum and “My Favorite Part” with Ariana Grande, “100 Grandkids,” “Cinderella” with Ty Dolla $ign, “Circles,” “Wings” and “Congratulations” featuring Bilal have gone platinum.

The Pittsburgh artist’s other tracks like “Clubhouse,” “I Can See,” “Everybody,” “Programs,” “Stay,” “God Is Fair, Sexy Nasty” with “Kendrick Lamar,” “Soulmate,” “Brand Name,” “Ascension,” “ROS” and “Rush Hour” are gold now. Furthermore, his albums “GO:OD AM,” “Circles” and “The Divine Feminine” have been certified platinum.

What’s more? Mac Miller’s new posthumous album is entitled “Balloonerism.” It was created around the same time as “Faces” in 2014. “Balloonerism” will be released on January 17, 2025.

In a statement released on Instagram, Miller’s estate explained: “It is a project that was of great importance to Malcolm to the extent that he commissioned artwork for it and discussions concerning when it should be released were had regularly, though ultimately ‘GO:OD AM’ and subsequent albums ended up taking precedence.”

“We believe the project showcases both the breadth of his musical talents and fearlessness as an artist. Given that unofficial versions of the album have circulated online for years and that releasing ‘Balloonerism’ was something that Malcolm frequently expressed being important to him, we felt it most appropriate to present and official version of the project to the world.”
