The Weeknd is expected to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest album entitled “Hurry Up Tomorrow.”
Hits Daily Double is reporting that the LP is projected to earn a total of 380,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including a whopping 260,000 in album sales. This is more than double the opening week of his previous release, 2022’s “Dawn FM.”
The Billboard 200 album chart will reveal its top 10 for the week on Sunday (February 9).
“Hurry Up Tomorrow” is the final installment in The Weeknd’s album trilogy, which included “Dawn FM” and “After Hours.”
The album features guest appearances from Justice, Anitta, Travis Scott, Florence and the Machine, Future, Playboi Carti, Giorgio Moroder and Lana Del Rey, while production was mainly handled by Mike Dean and The Weeknd himself.
