Two weeks after Dave East and Ransom announced they would be dropping a new collaboration project together, the Eastcoast duo have officially released their collaborative album “The Final Call.”

The release includes collaborations with Jay Electronica, Method Man and production from V Don, MadeinTYO and Prophecy.

The awaited project is accompanied by a new music video for “Fairwells.” While they spit their standout verses over the cinematically dark Prophecy production about them both saying their fair wells to the street life that they grew up in and had to survive from to make it where they are now.

“I have the deepest admiration for Brother Malcolm X. There’s not another human that ever walked the earth that I have more respect for,” Ransom asserts.

“The fact that he died basically homeless and without riches tells me everything I needed to know about the character. The Final Call releasing on the day he was killed is me showing my appreciation in my own unique way; through the art.”
