Travis Scott‘s “Jackboys 2” rollout is in full motion.
While the anticipated album still doesn’t have a release date, Trav took to Instagram to share the new single “2000 Excursion.” With Clipse dropping on Friday, some have wondered if Scott would drop on the same day.
“He sleep with a Spanish bi— in the club/ Bro knowin’ Spanglish, that’s good enough/ Wе took an hour out of the after-hours just to f— up all the ones/ I got a bunch, you ain’t doin’ brunch,” Scott raps.
The track features fellow Jackboys Don Toliver and Sheck Wes. Furthermore, we have a drum sample from Kanye West’s 2010 track “Power.” Whether or not Ye approved of this usage of his song, remains to be seen.
Travis Scott originally launched the “Jackboys” compilation on December 27, 2019, under his Cactus Jack label in partnership with Epic Records. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, becoming the first chart-topping album of the 2020s.
