Kanye West has alleged that his Instagram account was compromised after the unveiling of his YZY Money meme coin.

In a statement shared on X on August 26, Ye expressed concern over the breach, saying: “My Instagram has been hacked and it’s following a fake coin. The official project is @YZY_MNY.”

Upon closer examination of his Instagram account, Ye appears to follow only two profiles: his wife, Bianca Censori, and a Yeezy Token account (@yzytkn). He claims this second account was created by hackers and is entirely separate from his legitimate coin initiative.

The Yeezy Token account currently has fewer than 1,000 followers and contains a single post, though fans have taken to its comment section to warn others that the account is unaffiliated with Ye.

The official launch of Ye’s YZY Money meme coin took place on August 20 on the Solana blockchain. Promoting the project on X, Ye declared: “Yeezy money is here. A new economy, built on chain.”
