Don Toliver shares his new single “Tiramisu,” a smooth, genre-blending track that showcases the Houston native’s signature sound.
This time, he joins forces with Texas hitmaker Cardo for “Tiramisu,” a smooth anthem celebrating the sweetness of life. Blending melody with romance, the track shines thanks to Cardo’s relaxed yet dynamic production, adding depth to Toliver’s signature sing-song style.
Toliver croons, “Call me when you need it late at night, you know I’m slidin’ / I heard you been dreamin’ ’bout me lately, girl, I’m ridin’ / Tell me that you think about me ’cause you’re on my mind, babe / You ain’t gotta check your watch, you know I’m on that time, bae.”
The music video stays true to Toliver’s signature style, focusing less on his performance and more on showcasing his female co-stars, who appear to be immersed in the atmosphere of a nighttime camping adventure. It also features some intense tire-burning driving scenes and an alluring silhouette gracefully moving to the rhythm of the music.
It closely follows the release of “FWU,” a bass-heavy Mustard-produced single which arrived alongside a music video directed by HYBRID. In April, Toliver also collaborated with Doja Cat on “Lose My Mind,” the lead single from “F1 The Album”, the official soundtrack to the Formula 1 feature film.
