Megan Thee Stallion has officially embraced her “Lover Girl” era with the release of her fiery new single.

Marking her second track of 2025, the Houston Hottie dropped “Lover Girl” on Friday (October 24).

Earlier this month, Megan shared snippets of the song, amping up fan anticipation before announcing the official release date of the Total-sampling track.

In the single, she passionately raps about her relationship with NBA star Klay Thompson, saying: “My man, my man, my man, my baby, my baby… Spoiling me, driving me crazy.”

The connection between Megan and the Dallas Mavericks sharpshooter has been making headlines since their relationship became public during the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in July.

This marks a fresh chapter for Megan Thee Stallion, as “Lover Girl” is only the second single she’s dropped this year, following the April release of “Whenever.”

Many fans are speculating that these singles could lead to her long-awaited fourth studio album. Her previous project, “Megan”, released in 2024, peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
