Mass Appeal has released “Harlem’s Finest: Return Of The King”, a posthumous album honoring Harlem legend Big L.
This project is the latest addition to Mass Appeal’s “Legend Has It” campaign, which pays tribute to seven iconic artists: Slick Rick, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, Big L, De La Soul, and Nas/DJ Premier.
Highlighted by the historic and overdue collaboration “u aint gotta chance,” featuring Nas — which topped the iTunes charts — the album also includes contributions from Jay-Z, Mac Miller, Joe Budden, Method Man, Joey Bada$$, Conductor Williams, Lord Finesse, Showbiz, Novel, Errol Holden, Stretch & Bobbito, Ron Browz, Beat Butcha, McGruff, and Party Arty among others.
“Harlem’s Finest: Return Of The King” stands as a timeless tribute to Big L’s unmatched lyrical prowess and serves as a heartfelt salute to one of Harlem’s most masterful storytellers.
