B.G. sheds light on Lil Wayne’s absence from the Cash Money-No Limit Verzuz at ComplexCon 2025, revealing that health issues kept the rapper from participating in the star-studded event.

Lil Wayne, known for hits like “A Milli,” was notably missing, and B.G. explained his absence during an October 31 episode of “The Breakfast Club”.

“I talked to Wayne the morning before the Verzuz and, you know, shorty wasn’t feeling good. ‘Cause he had a concert at Drai’s [Nightclub] the same night and he canceled that as well,” B.G. shared.

Swizz Beatz, one of Verzuz’s key creators, was reportedly disappointed due to Wayne’s absence, especially since Wayne was the main reason he “pulled the trigger on it.”

He continued, “Shorty wasn’t feeling good ‘cause he definitely was supposed to be there. He told me that he wasn’t feeling good and that he had to go to the hospital or something like that.”

Reflecting on their conversation, B.G. advised Lil Wayne to prioritize his health: “You gotta make sure your health [is] in order and get your rest. You’ve been running 35 years strong, so you gotta make sure you get your rest and that your body and health [are] all the way intact.”

When asked about Lil Wayne’s potential involvement in the anticipated Cash Money-No Limit tour, B.G. remained uncertain, simply stating: “I can’t answer that.”

Despite Wayne’s absence, Cash Money delivered an impressive set at the Las Vegas Convention Center on October 25, performing classics like “Go DJ,” “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy,” and “I Miss My Dawgs,” to the delight of fans.
