On January 23, Finesse2tymes took to Instagram to call out Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, claiming the legendary group demanded $40,000 to clear the use of their 1997 collaboration with The Notorious B.I.G., “Notorious Thugs.”

In his post, Finesse expressed frustration over the alleged fee.

“The label said y’all was trying to charge me $40,000 to clear that sh*t,” Finesse said. “I ain’t gone lie , Im goin on one of yall grill [Bone Thugs-N-Harmony]. Nyga ain’t never extorted me In my life , $15-$25k coo , BITXCH $40k Naw yall gotta see me cuh,” he added in the caption.

In response, Layzie Bone addressed the issue and clarified that Bad Boy Records actually owns the rights to the song.

Alongside this clarification, Layzie offered some advice to the Memphis rapper: “If you want to have longevity in this business like Bone slow down on them drugs and get you a team to help you understand and navigate the business. We grown and too old for drama. Check yoself grasshoppers.”

However, Finesse2tymes didn’t appreciate Layzie’s comments and reacted strongly, releasing multiple videos on Instagram to voice his displeasure.

This public dispute comes amid a volatile period for Finesse2tymes. Following his recent arrest on drug charges earlier this month, the rapper has been openly sharing his unfiltered thoughts and engaging in heated exchanges, including previous disputes with Moneybagg Yo and Lil Woody.
