Ciara‘s family continues to expand.
As summer comes to a close and children return to school, Ciara and Russell Wilson shared exciting news via social media: their family is set to grow. On September 6, they announced they’re expecting their fifth child as Ciara revealed her pregnancy.
To celebrate the occasion, they posted a video on their Instagram profiles, showcasing maternity photos and video clips that beautifully highlight her growing baby bump.
“One more person to Love 🖐🏽🥺🖤,” the caption reads.
The announcement playfully hinted at the family’s growth. In the video, several white shirts are displayed on a clothesline. Four of these shirts have the names of their children, but a fifth item, a plain white onesie, stays unmarked as Ciara holds up a hand showing five fingers.
The news welcomed plenty of joy in the comments section. Latto, Kehlani, Tiny, Angel Reese, and more shared their congratulations.Lala wrote, “Another beautiful blessing!!! More to love!!! Making space over at Auntie La’s house 😂❤️❤️love my family. I’m just over here cheesing so hard ❤️🙏🏽CINCO!!!”
Ciara Announces Pregnancy
Wilson and Ciara tied the knot in 2016 and have since expanded their family with three children: Sienna Princess, Amora Princess, and Win Harrison. Ciara also has an older son, Future Zahir, from her prior relationship with Future, who recently appeared in a photo with JAY-Z.
Despite her busy schedule as a mother, Ciara returned to touring in 2024 alongside Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes, taking her children along for the journey.
“They were like little precious babies of a tour having so much fun with Auntie Missy, and Uncle Busta,” she told PEOPLE. “I mean, it’s just the energy was just incredible.”
