Recently, the Georgia-born rapper posted a video on Instagram where he performs his 2001 hit “Ugly,” sparking immediate responses from fans and online users. Naturally, he looks different compared to over two decades ago, but followers were pleased to see how well he’s aged, shedding weight and sporting a beard.
Looking back at his Instagram profile reveals that he first showcased his slimmer physique around 2024.
“I don’t remember Bubba Sparxxx lookin like this?????? IM TRIPPIN?!?!?!!!? Lmaoooo,” one person wrote on X.
“I would’ve bought the album if he looked like this,” another person responded.

Who Is Bubba Sparxxx?
Bubba Sparxxx rose to fame in 2001 with the track “Ugly,” which reached #15 on the Billboard Hot 100. Following that success, he released his debut album “Dark Days, Bright Nights”, and two years later, his second album, “Deliverance”.
Another major hit came in 2006 with “Ms. New Booty,” but in the ensuing years, he chose to go independent, resulting in a more subdued presence.
In recent times, Bubba has mostly stayed out of the spotlight but continues to release music independently. This includes his 2026 album “In Case You Missed It” and an appearance on Drink Champs in August.
