Hip-hop superstar Drake is rumored to be the Coachella 2027 secret headliner, sending festival fans and music lovers into a frenzy across social media.
According to industry reports, the OVO Sound leader is currently in discussion with organizers to return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, for what could be his biggest festival appearance in years.
Industry Reports Hint at Huge Coachella Return
Speculation began when Hits Daily Double published its weekly “Hits List,” reporting that Drizzy is actively “said to be in the Coachella discussion” for next year’s event. While festival lineup rumors circulate annually, the possibility of a Drake Coachella 2027 secret headliner performance carries serious weight.
Drake last headlined the festival back in 2015 and later made a surprise guest appearance during Future’s set in 2017. A headline slot or surprise performance in 2027 would mark more than a decade since his official headlining debut in the desert.
World Tour and New Music Pipeline
The rumors align closely with Drake’s busy release schedule and tour plans. After dropping a trifecta of projects—”Iceman”, “Maid of Honour”, and “Habibti”—the 6 God confirmed that a massive global tour is on the horizon.
“Obviously, tour is coming, and other things on the horizon,” Drake shared in a recent interview. “Of course, we’ll be out, you know, 2027 to see everybody again across the world.”
To add to the momentum, Drake released an expanded edition of his “Habibti (FOMO)” project featuring new tracks like “Solar Eclipse” (ft. Don Toliver) and “Québec,” along with new visual content tied to his short film “Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO).”
With new tracks streaming and a world tour locked in, a headline performance as the Drake Coachella 2027 secret headliner would be the perfect kickoff to his massive comeback year.
