As DMX is still fighting for his life at White Plains Hospital following an alleged April 2 drug overdose, which triggered a heart attack, a new report has emerged claiming the legendary rapper has COVID-19.
VladTV reported that they have been given information that the iconic Yonkers entertainer has also tested positive for COVID-19. Visitors of the rapper are being closely monitored with only a handful being approved to spend personal time with the rapper as he remains in a coma.
Other media sources are reporting that DMX does not have the coronavirus.
Steve Rifkind, DMX’s manager, released the following statement to TMZ:
DMX is currently on life support and in a coma. There are multiple people with inaccurate information about his well-being and it is not helpful and productive. Tomorrow he will undergo further tests on his brain function and his family will determine what’s best from there. We appreciate your prayers and support.
DMX was rushed to hospital on Friday (April 2) after suffering an overdose. He has battled with drug addiction for most of his life. X was reportedly without oxygen for upwards of 30 minutes while unconscious when police arrived on the scene and transported him to White Plains Hospital.
