Lifetime’s documentation “Surviving R. Kelly” exposed a lot of viewers to the idea of a celebrity potentially leading a ‘sex cult.’ The popular R&B singer was eventually charged with multiple state and federal sex-related crimes.

Now, rapper Blueface is facing accusations involving his recently erected “Blue Girls Club” reality television series, with many equating it to a ‘cult.’

Recently, social media users began questioning if Blueface was following in Kelly’s alleged footsteps. The controversial discussion began over the weekend after the Los Angeles rapper shared a video of himself telling multiple women to either get his name tattooed on their bodies or leave.

In the clip, Blueface asked multiple women if they had gotten his signature “Benjamin Franklin” tattoo on the spot. Other women were seen sleeping in at least three sets of bunk beds set up in one room.

Blueface went on Twitter to respond to the allegations that he is the leader of an R. Kelly-style cult who is causing women physical and psychological harm.
