A Boogie Wit da Hoodie has made his return with the release of his first solo single of the year, “Part Of Me.”
The melodious track features an interpolation of Mariah Carey’s Billboard #1 hit “We Belong Together,” which marked its 25th anniversary earlier this year.
It’s a heartfelt, melodic anthem of heartbreak that captures A Boogie in a raw and vulnerable light as he raps about a love that’s slipped away. Set against a somber instrumental, he delves into reflections on past relationships, emotional struggles, and the difficulty of moving on while still grappling with lingering feelings.
Recently, A Boogie teased “Part Of Me” and hinted at more electrifying new music during a standout appearance on Kai Cenat’s star-studded Mafiathon 3 livestream. The Bronx-based rapper also showcased his renowned lyrical prowess by collaborating with Don Q in a memorable On The Radar freestyle, which is currently available in full.
“Part Of Me” serves as the highly awaited follow-up to last year’s celebrated project “Better Off Alone”. This release includes popular singles such as “Steppas,” “Body” featuring Cash Cobain, and “Did Me Wrong.”
A Boogie supported “Better Off Alone” with an impressive world tour in 2024, selling out arenas across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
