A$AP Rocky’s eagerly anticipated album “Don’t Be Dumb” has finally arrived, marking a significant moment in the music world.
It’s been a remarkable 2,793 days since the release of his “Testing” album back in 2018, culminating in today’s (January 16) long-awaited return.
The rapper’s fourth studio project is officially here and kicks off 2026 with a bang as rap’s first major release of the year. While Rihanna’s presence might be absent, “Don’t Be Dumb” is brimming with high-profile collaborations, featuring the likes of Tyler, The Creator, Doechii, Bossman Dlow, Brent Faiyaz, Gorillaz, Jon Batiste, Slay Squad, Thundercat, Westside Gunn, and Will.i.am.
The album, which was initially scheduled to drop in August of 2024, carries 15 tracks, including standout singles such as “Punk Rocky”, which featured Winona Ryder in its cinematic video, and “Helicopter”. Rocky explores diverse artistry throughout the project, reportedly showcasing six distinct alter egos.
Ahead of its release on major streaming platforms, the Harlem-born artist has already sold over 130,000 units, according to a press release — evidence of the strong anticipation surrounding this record.
Serving as the follow-up to 2018’s “Testing”, which peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart, the new album solidifies Rocky’s prominent place in contemporary hip-hop. Although details about a global tour remain uncertain, fans can catch him live at Governors Ball 2026, where he’s slated to headline on June 7 in New York City.
