Rumors have been circulating on the internet that Keefe D was beaten up in jail but the rumors are reportedly not true.

“There’s a rumor going around that Keefe D got beat up and stabbed in jail. I looked into it, and it doesn’t appear to be true,” DJ Vlad confirmed on X.

Duane “Keefe D” Davis is being held without bail in Las Vegas, NV after being arrested in connection with the killing of Hip-Hop legend Tupac Shaker.

The rumors surrounding Keefe D’s alleged assault had spread like wildfire across social media. This caused considerable concern and speculation among fans and followers.

Keefe D has been charged with the Category A felony of “murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.”

During the grand jury return hearing, Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo said Keefe D’s public statements implicated him. They are claiming he ordered the shooting of the late rapper.

Earlier this month, Ice-T has weighed in on the recent arrest and indictment of Keefe D.

“My initial thought was ‘people talk too much,’” Ice-T said, referring to interviews Davis had done with DJ Vlad, Art of Dialogue, and other platforms in recent years.

The veteran actor concluded that the reputed gang member will likely die behind bars and that Davis’ own statements has made the prosecution’s job easier.

“He names everybody else in the car,” Ice-T said “And now he’s basically dead. He’s gonna spend the rest of his life in prison all by his own hand. You don’t even need anybody to testify.”
