It’s been almost six months since Benny The Butcher, the Grammy-nominated member of Buffalo’s acclaimed Griselda collective, proudly presented his Def Jam Recordings debut album “Everybody Can’t Go.”

After previously teasing the song on Instagram, the fans spoke and Benny listened and liberated “Summer ‘24.”

“It feel like Thugger already running trial but in my town it barely started/ And the tension is strong/ It’s like something telling me to kill soon as the weather get warm/ The worst case for a veteran/ As feds get involved/ N****, I carry the weight with me like a medicine ball,” Benny spits.

Thanks to the grandiose violins and boom bap drums plus Benny’s gritty performance on the 1:59 min record, “Summer ’24” is a repeat-worthy track.
