There are rumors that Boosie Badazz is still in the hospital days after he was shot in the leg in Dallas, Texas but that’s not the case.

According to TMZ, Boosie went under the knife after getting shot, but surgeons didn’t remove his foot – contrary to reports – and he is already home from the hospital. The Baton Rouge rapper needed multiple surgeries in order to treat the bullet wound.

One procedure needed to remove the bullet fragments. The other procedure put screws in his leg to assist with the healing process. Earlier reports suggested possible amputation due to Boosie’s diabetic condition.

TMZ confirmed that his diet was the only medical concern going forward, prior to surgery.

Reports are that Boosie was shot because rivals thought he was in Texas to retaliate after his close friend, Mo3, was shot and killed. But he was in Dallas to pay respect to Mo3 at a vigil held at Dallas City Hall. He was shot near Big “T” Plaza, a southwest Dallas flea market.
