Controversial rapper Boosie Badazz has been one of the biggest Tupac Shakur fans out there for quite a long time.
Now, Boosie has weighed in on the arrest of alleged 2Pac killer Keefe D during a recent interview with DJ Vlad released on Tuesday (October 31).
“[I was] kind of [surprised], because he been talking about it. And I thought, when he got busted or whatever, that he had immunity. So when he got arrested, I was like, immunity must be f*ckin’ gone… I thought he’d never get arrested for it. I thought if you get immunity, it’s done,” the Baton Rouge rapper said.
Afterward, Vlad explained that Keefe D only got a “proffer agreement” not full immunity. Boosie was previously unaware of that detail, which explains his initial reaction when he heard about the arrest.
Keefe D spoke openly about his presence that night of the murder but always denied pulling the trigger. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested him for the murder of 2Pac on September 29, 2023. They had previously raided a house owned by his wife in Henderson, Nevada over the summer in connection with the killing.
Elsewhere in his talk with Vlad, Boosie gave his take on the Dwight Howard sexual assault lawsuit. Despite being an outspoken critic of openly gay stars like Lil Nas X, Boosie urged Howard to come clean about his sexuality.
