Cardi B is gearing up to drop her latest hit, promising fans a taste of drama with her forthcoming single, “Imaginary Players.”
Set to release this Friday (August 15), the rapper teased the announcement on social media, sharing a striking image of herself rocking pink hair and a glamorous white fur coat in front of a sleek Rolls Royce.
The single follows her chart-topping success with “Outside,” which recently claimed #1 spots on both Rhythmic Airplay and Rap Airplay charts and debuted at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 last month.
“Imaginary Players” will feature alongside “Outside” on her highly anticipated second studio album, “Am I The Drama?”, arriving September 19 via Atlantic Records. Fans can also expect popular hits like “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Up” to be part of the tracklist, a choice Cardi addressed after unveiling the album. She explained on X that these songs, beloved by her audience and widely sought after, deserved a permanent spot on the record.
“Am I The Drama?” will arrive 7 years after after her Grammy-winning debut, “Invasion Of Privacy”. Her first album not only debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in 2018 but also set records in 2022 when every track earned platinum or higher certifications from the RIAA.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting her follow-up, and Cardi seems poised to deliver yet another unforgettable chapter to her discography.
