Cardi B has spoken up about not targeting fellow rapper BIA after reports of low sales for BIA’s debut album, “BIANCA”.
Addressing fans during a session on X Spaces, Cardi clarified that she isnât interested in tearing anyone down over numbers, stating she doesnât make it a habit to go after other artists just because she can.
In her remarks, Cardi acknowledged learning about BIAâs first-week sales, which reportedly amounted to 8,000 album-equivalent units and failed to chart on the Billboard 200 following the album’s October 10 release. However, she emphasized that she wouldnât mock or criticize BIA over those figures, considering it unnecessary and excessive.
Cardi also touched upon her ongoing tension with rapper JT, making it clear that her responses come at her own pace. She reiterated her opinion that JT doesnât outperform her in any area, from looks to rap skills. This follows recent public disputes involving both artists.
Continuing her feud with BIA, Cardi earlier claimed that BIA allegedly fabricated details about writing the hook for “Whole Lotta Money.” Cardi stated she has evidence of the original hook on her phone and further revealed that the song was initially offered to her before BIA took it on. This adds a new layer to their ongoing back-and-forth exchanges.
