Donald Glover has been teasing the end of his Childish Gambino moniker since 2017.

Gambino has released his first single “Lithonia,” named after a city just east of Atlanta, where his TV show is set, from the forthcoming project. Co-produced by Gambino himself alongside legends Max Martin, Ludwig Göransson and Michael Uzowuru, “Lithonia” hit streaming services on Tuesday (July 2).

Glover’s previously announced his “New World” tour begins August 11 at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center. The tour continues through the rest of 2024 in North America and Europe, and into Australia and New Zealand in 2025. WILLOW and Aamarae will open.
