Chris Brown congratulated his ex-girlfriend Rihanna after the superstar singer welcomed her and A$AP Rocky’s first child, a baby boy.
“Congratulations,” Breezy wrote on his Instagram Story on Thursday (May 19), shortly after news broke of the infant’s May 13 arrival.
Brown included three emojis in the social media post — a red heart, a pregnant woman and praying hands.
“Chris wanted to send his well wishes to Rihanna but he’s also not trying to make any drama for her with Rocky,” a source told HollywoodLife.com.
Naturally, the post drew mixed reactions on social media, considering Chris Brown’s infamous past with Rihanna. The two entertainers dated in the late 2000s. However, the relationship ended when Chris assaulted Rihanna in 2009. He received five years of probation for the crime.
