Clipse made history as the first Hip-Hop artists to perform a Rap concert at the Vatican, joining John Legend in St. Peter’s Square for the groundbreaking event.
The concert, titled “Grace For The World,” marked a significant cultural moment as the first ever musical event held at this sacred venue. Co-directed by Pharrell Williams, it showcased an eclectic mix of talent, including classical singer Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Hudson, and country artist Jelly Roll.
During John Legend’s set, he invited the members of Clipse to take the stage for a rendition of their collaborative track, “The Birds Don’t Sing.” The song’s spiritual undertones, paired with No Malice’s deep connection to faith in recent years, made their performance a poignant highlight of the evening.
“This is a rare cultural moment where the world stops and collectively tunes in. It is a message of unity and grace for all of humanity,” said Pharrell Williams.
