Coi Leray is paying homage to Janet Jackson in the music video for her new single entitled “Can’t Come Back,” giving it a steamy touch of her own.

“Can’t Come Back” is the 26-year-old rapper and singer’s first single of 2024, along with an official music video that pays tribute to an iconic Janet Jackson visual named “Pleasure Principle.”

A funky intro to the song is reminiscent of ‘80s and ‘90s-hailing R&B beats, over which the artist whispers the words “can’t come back.”

“Only wanna call on the late night (What else?) / Don’t match my vibe (Yeah) / Can’t really tell if you’re mine (Come on) / Hate it when you switch sides (Woo).”

“Can’t Come Back” was produced by Mike WiLL Made-It alongside Melz & True Beats. Dragan Andic directed the video, enlisting Alondra Costa for creative direction and Johnathan Behr for production.
