Diddy‘s official prison release date has been confirmed.

As of Sunday (October 26), details entered into the Federal Bureau of Prisons indicate that the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment is scheduled for release on May 8, 2028.

Considering time already served since his September 2024 arrest, Diddy appears set to complete a total of 42 months behind bars.

Earlier this month, Diddy received a 50-month prison sentence following his July conviction on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. NBC News reported that his attorney had filed a request for him to serve his time at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security facility in New Jersey, citing its provisions to address substance abuse issues, prioritize family visitation, and support rehabilitation efforts.

Diddy is currently detained at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where he has been held for the past 13 months. His final placement will ultimately be decided by the Bureau of Prisons.

Meanwhile, speculation surrounds the possibility of a pardon from former President Trump. Back in May, Trump hinted at being open to granting clemency. However, since then, conflicting reports have surfaced regarding whether there is still interest in commuting Diddy’s sentence.
