On the heels of the 27th anniversary of his landmark debut album, “It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot” — now certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA — iconic rapper DMX returns with a new single entitled “Bring Out The Worst,” with Joyner Lucas.

“Bring Out The Worst” is a reminder of the intensity, authenticity, and lyrical force that made DMX a legend. Paired with Joyner Lucas, “Bring Out The Worst” stays true to X’s unmistakable sound — gritty, raw, and emotionally charged.

“I’ve been doing this for too long, plus dog is too strong / Let you catch, fight me off the map with a new song,” DMX raps. “You can bring out the best, or bring out the worst / You gonna bring out the worst, we gonna bring out the hearse.”

The single marks the first release from the upcoming “DMX Features” project, a posthumous collection of never-before-heard collaborations featuring some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop. The full project is slated for release later this summer and will celebrate the life, legacy, and influence of one of rap’s most enduring voices.

Originally released in 1998, “It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot” changed the face of Hip-Hop overnight, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 and launching a historic run of five consecutive #1 albums for DMX. With its raw energy and spiritual urgency, the album ushered in a new era for East Coast rap and solidified X’s place among the greats.

“Bring Out The Worst” captures that same intensity, reminding fans and critics alike that DMX’s voice still resonates with timeless relevance.
