Drake addresses his admirers in a cryptic social media post as anticipation builds for his upcoming project, potentially titled “Iceman.”
The rapper shared a poignant message via an Instagram carousel on Friday (January 9), expressing disappointment in those who look up to him.
“I was expecting people who look up to me to look me in the eyes too I thought that’s the least they could do,” he wrote in what sounds like a possible bar off his next album. “But I was wrong about them like I was wrong about you.”
His latest photo collection contains more enigmatic messages that may connect to Iceman, inviting deeper interpretation from fans.
One slide reads, “It’s time to move on, isn’t it?” alongside snapshots of Drake spending time with Johnny “Football” Manziel, his longtime friend and former college football legend.
In another image, Drake references author Fran Lebowitz with a humorous yet pointed caption: “I have two main activities in life. Smoking and plotting revenge.”
While Iceman has yet to receive an official release date, these posts suggest the OVO head honcho might be edging closer to unveiling his first solo album since 2023’s “For All the Dogs”.
Fans are now watching closely, eager to decode his next move.
