Drake shocked fans with a surprise album drop.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper unvealed his 7th studio album “Honestly, Nevermind” today (June 17) after the Toronto rapper surprised the world with a simple announcement on his Instagram: “7th studio album ‘HONESTLY, NEVERMIND’ out at midnight.”
The new LP comprises 14 tracks and has a hefty 52-minute run time. The record’s only listed featured artist is 21 Savage, who appears on closing track “Jimmy Cooks.”
“Honestly, Nevermind” serves as the follow-up to the 6 God’s 6th LP “Certified Lover Boy,” which he released less than a year ago. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 as well as Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, and it contained the Billboard Hot 100-topping single “Way 2 Sexy,” featuring Young Thug and Future.
The news of Drake’s 7th studio album drop comes in light of Beyonce announcing July 29 as the release date for “Renaissance,” her 7th studio album and first solo album in six years.
