Drake joined a live stream on Kick on Saturday (August 9), alongside Adin Ross, xQc, and PartyNextDoor.

During their conversation, Drizzle touched on the recording process for “Iceman”, his ninth studio album. Pointing to a microphone nearby, he mentioned to stay up “all night” to continue working on the project.

“I’ll stay up all night fucking recording for Iceman. They’re having a full blown party outside,” Drake said. “I can hear people and having a street festival all day. I’ll go out there.I’ll fucking run out there. I’ll turn up with them, do shots, come back— like, I just want a little, you know, I wanna feel it.”

Adin Ross added to the excitement by claiming he’d already heard the entire album, calling it “great.”

Drake playfully responded, joking that Ross’ remarks might lead fans to think their expectations aren’t being met despite the praise.

“Now people are gonna say that you’re underwhelmed by it when you fucking talking about it like that,” Drake joked.

“The Iceman” album will be Drake’s first solo full-length album since 2023’s “For All The Dogs” and his first project since “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U”, a collaborative effort with PartyNextDoor.
