Days after J. Cole removed his track ā7 Minute Drillā ā loaded with shots at Kendrick Lamar ā from streaming services, Drakeās response to Lamar on āLike Thatā has seemingly leaked online.
The song, titled āPush Ups (Drop and Give Me 50),ā was first leaked on Saturday (April 13). The leak initially sparked fans to debate on whether it may have been AI-generated before it was somewhat confirmed as authentic later in the day.
āPush Ups (Drop and Give Me 50)ā hears the Toronto rapper firing back at not only Lamar but a handful of other rappers as well as Top Dawg Entertainment.
āI could never be nobody number one fan/ Your first number one, I had to put it in your hand,ā Drizzle opens in response to a Future “We Don’t Trust You” lyric (āYou a n***a Number One fan, dogā). A few bars later Drake pivots to Lamar, questioning āHow the f*ck you big steppinā with a size seven menās on?ā
āMaroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty/ Then we need a verse for the Swifties/ Top say drop, you better drop and give āem fifty,ā he also spits, picking up momentum.
āPipsqueak, pipe down/ You aināt in no Big Three, SZA got you wiped down/ Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down/ Like your label, boy, you in the scope right now/ And you gonā feel the aftermath of what I write down/ Iām at the top of the mountain, so you tight now/ Just to have this talk with yoā ass, I had to hike down/ Big difference between Mike then and Mike now.ā
Drake then moves on to Metro Boomin, āMetro, shut your h*e ass up and make some drums, n***aā as well as The Weeknd, āCash blowinā Abel bread, out here trickinā (Out here trickinā) / Sh*t we do for b*tches he doinā for n***as.ā
The Canadian superstar closes out with some more thoughts on Coleās recent move of reprieve.
āAnd that f*ckinā song yāall got did not start the beef with us/ This sh*t been brewinā in a pot, now Iām heatinā up/ I donāt care what Cole think, that Dot sh*t was weak as f*ck/ Champagne trippinā, he is not f*ckinā easinā up/ N***a calling Top to see if Top wanna peace it up.ā
