Bronx rapper Dyce Payso teams up with the late Fatman Scoop for the new track, “Let It Go.” The single is set to ignite the streets and clubs alike, setting the stage for Dyce Payso’s upcoming project, which will drop later this year.

“Let It Go” perfectly fuses Dyce Payso’s uptown swagger and Fatman Scoop’s signature hype-man energy. Adding a nostalgic twist, the track samples Ray J’s hit “Wait A Minute” featuring Lil’ Kim.

Known for his infectious ability to get any crowd moving, Fatman Scoop brings the heat, while Dyce Payso delivers cunning verses that will have fans chanting along from the very first beat. The accompanying video, directed by Andrew Greenblatt, perfectly captures an authentically lit NYC vibe.

Dyce Payso, who’s been making waves in the NYC rap scene with his gritty lyricism and flashy performances, wanted to create a track that was more than just music — it’s an experience. “Let It Go” is designed to involve the crowd for that perfect call-and-response moment with the entire room jumping.

“I wanted to make something that everyone could feel, something that brings people together and makes them just let go,” says Dyce Payso. “Fatman Scoop was the perfect match for that vibe. His energy is unmatched, and together, we made something that’s going to hit hard whether you’re at a block party in the Bronx or turning up at the club.”

As previously reported, Fatman Scoop has died after collapsing while performing at a show in Hamden, Connecticut on August 30. Footage of the incident showed people attempting to perform CPR on Fatman Scoop behind equipment onstage, and Hamden mayor Lauren Garrett confirmed that paramedics tried lifesaving measures.

The Grammy-winning DJ is survived by his son, daughter and brother. He was 56.
