Eminem released his infamous “The Marshall Mathers LP” on May 23, 2000 via Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.
The legendary LP debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart where it remained for a consecutive 8 weeks. It sold over 1.78 million copies in its first week and over 25 million copies in total making it one of the best-selling albums of all time.
Now, the Detroit rap god wants to celebrate the 20th anniversary with a listening party on Wednesday (May 27).
The diamond-selling emcee announced the event for the highly revered project via Twitter.
