The release of Eminem‘s new concept album entitled “The Death Of Slim Shady” marks a sad day as we mourn the passing of Em’s famed alter ego “Slim Shady”.

Clocking in at just a little over an hour, the 20-track album features guest appearances from Big Sean, Babytron, JID, White Gold, Sly Pyper, Bizarre, Ez Mil, Jelly Roll, Skylar Grey, and 2 Chainz plus production work from the likes of Dr. Dre, Luis Resto, Foulmouth and the rapper himself.

On his brand new LP, the Detroit legend jabs at figures like Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West, Ja Rule, and others.

On “Antichrist,” Em disses Diddy by referencing the recently surfaced footage of him physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie in 2016. “Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his a** beat worse than Diddy did [pause]/ But on the real, though/ She prolly ran out the room with his f**kin’ dildo/ He try to field goal punt her, she said to chill/ Now put it back in my a** and get the steel toe,” Em raps.

Lizzo is also getting dissed on “Road Rage,” where Eminem mentions her during his tirade about overweight people. “Ain’t never really truly over ’til Lizzo sings/ We should coddle fat people, yeah, here’s a concept, let’s celebrate onset/ Diabetes and instead of us dieting we can just have a pie-eating contest,” he spits.

Em’s 12th studio album arrives four years after giving us “Music To Be Murdered By.”

“The Death Of Slim Shady” serves as a concept album as confirmed by Eminem himself, who notes that the songs should be listened to in order.
