Hip-Hop superstar Eminem has reportedly set a new Billboard 200 record. According to Billboard, the Detroit emcee’s 11th studio album “Music To Be Murdered By” has made its debut at #1, making Em the first artist to earn 10 consecutive #1 albums in the chart’s history.
“Music to Be Murdered By” garnered a total of 279,000 units, comprised of 154,000 in streaming equivalent albums, 117,000 in album sales and 8,000 in track equivalent albums. The streaming equivalent album units equate to 217.6 million on-demand streams for the album’s tracks, marking the largest streaming week for an album since the second week of Post Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding” with 220.9 million on-demand streams.
Slim Shady officially becomes the sixth act with 10 or more #1 albums, joining The Beatles (with a record 19), Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen (11), Barbra Streisand (11) and Elvis Presley (10).
