In his own words, “I’ve always stayed pretty true to R&B in the past whether it be slow or uptempo/club or bedroom vibes. But with this project I felt the need to dance. To celebrate. To be triumphant. Each project I’ve always challenged myself to see what I could do next and the first place my heart chose to go was Afro!”
Bellinger first teased the album title during BET Awards week, where he was attending events to celebrate his nomination for the chart-topping single “Curious.”
Now that “It’ll All Make Sense Later” is here, Bellinger is fully immersed in the sound, with features from Afrobeats heavyweights like Konshens, Oxlade, Reekado Banks, Taves, and Vscript.
