Eric Bellinger is making his long-awaited debut in the Afrobeats scene with the release of “It’ll All Make Sense Later,” an album fans have been eagerly anticipating.
Known for his smooth R&B hits, Bellinger has now embraced the infectious rhythms and vibrant energy of Afrobeats, blending his signature sound with the genre that has been reshaping the landscape of urban music in America.
Afrobeats’ influence has been undeniable, with its pulsating beats and feel-good vibes crossing into mainstream R&B and hip-hop, making it a perfect fit for an artist like Bellinger who thrives on innovation and versatility.
In his own words, “I’ve always stayed pretty true to R&B in the past whether it be slow or uptempo/club or bedroom vibes. But with this project I felt the need to dance. To celebrate. To be triumphant. Each project I’ve always challenged myself to see what I could do next and the first place my heart chose to go was Afro!”
Bellinger first teased the album title during BET Awards week, where he was attending events to celebrate his nomination for the chart-topping single “Curious.”
Now that “It’ll All Make Sense Later” is here, Bellinger is fully immersed in the sound, with features from Afrobeats heavyweights like Konshens, Oxlade, Reekado Banks, Taves, and Vscript.
